Stompernet’s Launch - An Inside Look Part 2

By Ross Goldberg | September 10, 2009

I’m sitting in Brad Fallon’s kitchen right now, working on the Stompernet launch.  While I’ve launched many products on my own, I am used to only leaning on 2 or 3 people to help me get things in line for my product releases.  I’ve worked with them for a long time and they always get me what I need on time.

For a launch of this caliber, there are roughly 30 staff members working on different pieces of this massive puzzle.

It’s VERY different from what I’m used to and it’s been an amazing experience from the top to the bottom.

Some of you were waiting at 9 a.m. Eastern time for the doors to open and be able to see what this gigantic announcement was going to be.  Regrettably, it took over 3 hours for everything to fall into place and those doors to actually open.

I’ve seen the conspiracy theories and I’m irritated by all of them.  Until you are in the middle of the kind of sh*tstorm that occurred yesterday, you have no way to be able to understand what happened and I’m sure most people theorizing have plenty of better things to do.

To understand what happened, I need you to get a touch creative with me.  Imagine a long chain with 30 links.  Let’s say that 28 of those links are made of the strongest metal imaginable and are unbreakable.  Then, you have 2 links in that chain made of wet toilet paper.  Then, launch time comes, the chain gets yanked, and the toilet paper does exactly what you’d expect.
To be clear on this:

If you combine the total value of all of the tools we’re releasing to all members, it’s worth well over the $199 per month Stompernet costs.

To all conspiracy theorists, get a life.  Things didn’t go as planned, but that happens.  If you were here with us yesterday, you’d have no question that nobody planned to keep the doors shut until after 12 Noon.  Honestly, it’d be pretty stupid of us to do that.  You can’t sell anything if you aren’t able to take orders ;-)

I’m going to be putting some crazy stuff together for Stompernet members over the next few months.  I’d recommend you sign up for it as soon as you can.
