Easy Methods to Promote Products (Yours and Affiliate)
By Ross Goldberg | April 15, 2007
Earning money online can be easy if you know what
you’re doing, it can also be the most frustrating
thing you’ve ever dealt with if you don’t. There
are tons of tactics that work, but here are some
that I’ve found to be easiest.
PPC - Pay per click is the fastest method of
generating traffic to an offer. Focus on longer
keywords with at least 2 phrases. It’s been
proven that people use more words when truly
looking to buy something. The cost per click
will be less, as well. You should always try to
use a squeeze page to collect email addresses
before sending someone onto an affiliate program
you’re promoting. If you get their email, you
can promote products to them over and over again.
Articles - Writing articles can be easy if you
know what you’re talking about. Keep articles
short and focused on a specific topic. This will
create a curiosity that will get people to click
on the link in your resource box. If you are
having trouble finding a topic, search
Ezinearticles.com to see what others are writing
about.
Myspace - Your Myspace profile is a great place
to promote products. It’s shown in studies that
people will click on an image more than a link
on Myspace, so either have one created or use the
images on the sales page of what you’re promoting.
Don’t spam people, but bring them in by blogging
and talking about what you’re promoting. Search
groups for people that need what you’re selling
and tell them about the product. Then direct them
to your blog for info on it and the affiliate or
product link.
Blogs - Blogging is an extremely easy way to put
information out with no cost. First, you create
your blog post. Then, you ping directories using
pingoat, feedshark.brainbliss.com, and pingomatic.
Then you submit your RSS feed to directories and
social bookmark your posts using onlywire. Nice
and Easy!
The methods above work well, but the key to
promoting anything online is to find your
potential customer. Type in very vague keywords
on Google and find interactive websites in your
niche. You can find hidden gems that many don’t
even realize are there by doing this and building
a presence on these sites.
Only Submitter is a clickbank product offering 50%
commission and you can promote it pretty easily
with the tools I’ve provided at:
http://www.onlysubmitter.com/jv.html
Conversion is hovering around 10% right now, so
check out the info there and feel free to respond
if you have any questions on how to promote it!

P.S. With a conversion like 10%, you’re losing
out by not promoting Only Submitter…

Mr.Goldberg,
Sir, I use Pingomatic everytime I post, edit a blog,or add new content. What exactly does Pingomatic, etc do once I ping them? Are my posts, etc put out in plain view or are they merely links for those interested enough to click on them and read them?
