Wednesday, June 13th, 2007I had an absolute blast at JV Alert! I was able to spend some time with every single
speaker and enjoyed every second of the event. It looks like I’ll be speaking at
the next one in San Diego this fall. If you’d like to see me sooner, there are

It was amazing to see all of the different levels of marketers at JV Alert. I realized
that many people don’t understand how powerful these events can be, even the ones that attend them. At your next event, be sure to talk to as many people as you can. This includes the speakers, but also the attendees. You never know who you might be missing if you leave people out.
I introduced Scott Paton and gave some Web 2.0 tips to the group and was literally
chased for the rest of the weekend! Of course, I’m not complaining.
One of the people I spent a majority of my time with was Brian Edmondson. I’m sure your
email box has been filling with promotions for his newest product, but what I have to
say is a bit different from the others. I was one of the first people to see this product
a few months ago and flipped out when I did. Brian also took the time to give me advice on increasing my conversion rate for my email marketing. He gave me advice that doubled and then tripled my conversion rates.

Some of you know me from the Warrior Forum. I used to love being in that forum. I don’t spend as much time there, but have found that the forum just isn’t what it used to be.

Friday, May 11th, 2007How many Ebooks and Software Products are sitting on your hard drive unused? How many of them are unopened? I have dozens. How many of them confused you and left you not knowing what to do next? I’ve got a bunch of those too!
No matter how many Ebooks you buy, success won’t be included. They may give you some new tactics to improve your business and tactics. They may even give you ideas for new ventures and products. They will NEVER solve all of your issues.
I have a ton of Software that was “supposed” to make my life easier. Most of it just confused me and was really difficult to set up. After the Only Submitter launch, I’ve seen this first hand as many purchasers got lost and couldn’t figure out what to do next. Thankfully, I’ve been able to help them figure it all out within a few minutes of getting their messages. Most companies that offer software make you wait for days before getting some kind of response. The response is normally not what you need to know either…
There is a solution to these issues. There are many successful marketers online that offer coaching. This equates to instruction straight from the expert, secrets to success, and tactics that actually work. You are also held accountable for your actions. Personally, I will not even speak to a client until they complete any and all tasks that I’ve asked them to do. If you can’t take action than having a coach or mentor won’t help you at all.
If you can take action and need direction, then a mentor is exactly what you need. The issue with this is the cost. Many successful marketers charge a few thousand dollars for coaching. I personally charge $2000 for three months of one on one training. It is worth every cent.
To solve the issue of cost, group coaching has exploded lately. You can learn everything from Copywriting, Private Label Rights, or Adsense. I took a look at the programs coming out and saw one main thing missing - Everything I do!
