A Marketer’s Story

I’d like to tell you a story today.

I met this marketer at one of the biggest events of the year, Frank Kern’s Mass Control event.  I was simply an attendee.

Frank is one of the few marketers whose products I religiously buy (this post is not about him though), and this guy is one of his good buddies.

He saw me and his face turned bright red and he walked up to where I was sitting.  He said “I have to shake your hand, we need to talk”.

I’d never met him before and was concerned that he was going to slug me.  I had made it a personal vendetta to slam a product that his company was putting out.  If you googled the name of the product, you were guaranteed to find my ridiculous video (that included a picture of the product’s logo with dog crap on top of it) as I stuck up for a close personal friend.

(I don’t do the “dog crap” video thing anymore, I’ve grown)

As we sat at a table outside of the event, he and I discussed what I did, how I did it, and talked about future possibilities.

More than a year later, I began working with his company.  This was after the Mass Control 2 event where we made everything official.  At one point he handed me his credit card and said “Take care of everybody”.  He was just that kind of guy.

Working with him was amazing.  This guy opened my eyes to a lot of possibilities.  He had a major role in the evolution of my business.

As I’ve evolved in business and personally, I end up thinking about my past and those that changed the direction of my business.  He’s always one of the first that comes to my mind.

I respect this guy.  I’ve learned a ton from this guy.

Now, you can learn some cool stuff from him, too.

The free stuff he’s about to put out will open your eyes and have you making serious moves with video.  Don’t hesitate, the video above is the most ridiculous I’ve ever seen.
