Affiliate Marketing 2.0 is almost done!
Monday, July 23rd, 2007I finished the second piece of Affiliate Marketing 2.0 this morning! I can’t tell you how exciting it is to be working on a product of this scope. So far I’ve interviewed Willie Crawford, Warren Whitlock, Frank Sousa, Jason James, Simon Leung, Michael Nicholas, Liz Tomey, Jeff Dedrick, Pat Lovell and Andrew Wee. I have Russell Brunson, Brian Edmondson, Harris Fellman, Tiffany Dow, Tom Beal, and a few others scheduled for this week. Next, I’ll be doing about two hours of Camtasia videos and we’ll be ready to rock.
Would it be OK if I gave away a few copies again?
I have a bunch of info for you today.
Harris and Sal got into a fist fight over the weekend and Harris sent me a pic showing the Dora Bat imprint on his forehead. He forbade me from showing it, but the fight was over something that will actually benefit you. Sal insisted that for the last 24 hours of the Site Stealer sale, that he needed to include Peelaway Ads as a special bonus! Since Sal won, that is exactly what you get!
You know that I use a bunch of video in my marketing. Michael Nicholas and Eric Holmlund recently released Affiliate Video Brander and it’s software worth way more than the price they have put on it.
My good friend Michael Savoie has put together an inexpensive product that will help you build your list with less time and effort.
AND! Last, but not least, I made arrangements with the guys over at Article Post Robot to get you a discount on all of their products!
Video Upload Pro uploads your video to more than 15 of the top video sites automatically with 2 minutes of set up + get $50 off!
http://videoup.pinurl.com
Use coupon code: 468E6CC11695EBE0
Article Post Robot will submit your articles to over 400 sites on complete autopilot + get $30 off!
Use coupon code: 468E6CBD1B53BA40
The discounts above are only valid until July 27th!
Obviously there is no way you could afford all of those products!
Take a few moments to see which apply to you and will help you the most with your marketing efforts.

Harris Fellman’s Site Stealer - Sal Threatened Me With The Dora Bat!
Tuesday, July 17th, 2007Your inbox is about to fill up again and there is a good reason!
Many of the “guru group” have been talking lately. We have noticed
the influx of crap, garbage, and regurgitated nonsense. Mike Filsaime
and Tom Beal made their impact with their code, I will be making
mine soon with Affiliate Marketing 2.0, and Harris Fellman (better
known as Sal
is doing it with Sitestealer.
Keep reading - it isn’t what it sounds like!
There is nothing unethical or wrong with the tactics in Sitestealer.
I have used every level except Level 5 (you’ll understand why when
you see it. In fact, I used Level 4 with you last week! These
tactics are used by the greats, but have never been revealed before
in a system like this. The explanation is clear and concise, the
product is complete and leaves nothing for you to wonder about or
confuse you.
How do I know?
Well, I won’t recommend a product to you unless I’ve seen it.
Where did I see it?
At my seminar! Harris was given one hour to speak about whatever
topic he chose. He chose to reveal the entire Sitestealer package!
The problem was that it took him almost twice as long as it was
supposed to! It threw our schedule off a bit, but nobody had a
problem with it.
It’s funny because at every event, I’ve caught someone sleeping in
their seat. It’s normally the long presentations that bores someone
to snoring with 80 other people sitting around them. This, of
course, leads to the rest of us laughing our butts off.
It didn’t happen when Harris was on stage.
There was no snoring.
Nobody complained about him going for almost an extra hour.
Not even me!
I feel passionate enough about this product that I’m going to do
something special for anyone that purchases this through me. Level
4 is a tactic that will be something you have definitely seen used
before. I’m going to give you an integral piece that will allow
you to use Level 4 immediately. Simply email me at info [at] diamondseo.com
with your receipt pasted into the email and I’ll fill you in on exactly
how I’m going to do that!
Harris is one of my closest personal friends. He has helped
me more than anyone else that I know. We have a 1 on 1 mastermind
call every two weeks and it normally lasts for 3 to 4 hours. He is
a brilliant marketer and the only one I know that has moved as
quickly up the ranks in this industry as myself. The quality in
anything he does is always the highest possible and he never fails
to over deliver:

My Story and How I Got Here
Monday, July 9th, 2007I think that understanding me isn’t easy. Getting this far sure as hell wasn’t. There are some things that most don’t know, but will help you understand a bit more about where I come from and how I got this far.
I grew up in a suburb of Chicago with my parents and triplet brothers and sister. At the age of 8 my parents divorced due to some major drug and other issues. My Mom remarried 3 months later to my Stepdad. They had my baby sister two years later and moved us to Wisconsin.
By the age of 13 I was gang banging. I know, gang banging and Wisconsin don’t match well, but Chicago was 1.5 hours away. I ran with a nasty crowd up until the age of 16 when my parents forced me out of that life.
At 17 I started DJing at a night club. Once I graduated high school (barely) I moved in with my boss at the club and started managing the place. I learned a ton from my time with them. This was the first job I was ever able to hold for more than 2 weeks.
At 18 my old gang buddies decided to start going after my brothers. I found no other option to get back involved with gangs. I truly didn’t know how else to protect my family from the punks that were causing problems.
At almost 19 I decided to move to Florida with my father. I was at a dead end and needed to make some major changes in my life. Within a week of moving to Florida, I had a full time job doing phone sales. I picked up a job on the weekends managing a teen club. I also started going to college part time.
In one year, I decided to move home. Shortly after I joined the army reserves. Within 2 weeks of hitting training, I ruined my ankles. Multiple sprains with no time to heal caused quite a bit of pain (I was not meant to run 3 miles a day. I was the kid in high school that smoked a cigarette while walking the 1 mile run). In the second stage of my training, my injuries got worse. I had to get physical therapy to try to heal the wounds. I scraped through training by getting an alternate event for my fitness test. The problem is that they left my medical records at the fort I was trained at.
When I got home I tried to get treatment for the injuries, but without my medical records it was impossible. I got pissed off and stopped going to my reserve weekends.
At this point, I became the big bad gang leader. I was 21 years old and had been involved with gangs for a majority of my life. I did horrible things and hurt a lot of people.
I got a job at a Blockbuster as an assistant manager based on my previous management experience. I stayed there for almost three years.
At 22 I went back to serve the rest of my term with the Army. They still couldn’t do anything for my problems, but my loyalty made me do it… I met and married my wife the next year. We had our first child 6 months after we got married (she had one from prior to our relationship).
I slowly moved up the ranks with the Army and learned a lot through the administrative work I did. I had trouble doing my actual job (ammunition specialist) due to my injuries.
I quit Blockbuster due to working with psychos and jumped around from job to job for a bit. I could never hold one for more than a few months. I was in a lot of pain and nobody could figure out why. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at the age of 24 after over a year of questions.
At 25 the war in Iraq started. My medical records were still gone and my unit was being prepped for war. The Army was required to show that I had been vaccinated if they wanted to send me overseas. This meant that they had to shoot me up until my record finally stayed put. It took 4 times until that finally happened. I also had my little boy at this point (baby #3).
The Department of Veterans affairs decided that I was disabled enough to be put through school. They paid me $1000 per month to attend the University in my home town. The problem was that by then I had a wife and 3 kids and that was not enough money to live on.
I decided to make an attempt at working online. I found an inexpensive memory foam mattress supplier that I could get products from and opened an Ebay store.
Two weeks later I went into a coma. I awoke 10 days after that paralyzed from the waist down.
I rehabilitated quickly and went home roughly 1 month after going into the hospital. I was still in a wheelchair, but felt enough to walk with a walker. I’m still, to this day, mostly paralyzed from my chest down (it moved up).
My wife and brother figured out how to fill orders and customers were pretty understanding considering my situation. Once I got home, I began rabidly studying how to make a living online. It took 2 or 3 hours to work on the Ebay biz and I spent another 12 or more studying SEO, HTML, and anything else I thought I needed to know.
Exactly 1 year after we opened our doors, a vendor took off with $4,000 of our money. Two customers realized something was going on and tried to get a refund without returning their mattresses. We ended up losing $12,000 and had to close the business.
My wife suggested that we open an SEO company, I had been able to get great results for our website and she figured I could do it for others. It was a great idea and we did very well with it, but it was frustrating. People would want results in days when we told them it would take months. 3 months later we decided to close down.
That is when I wrote my first Ebook. It’s been a bumpy ride, but the bottom line is that it led me here.
I owe a huge thanks to anyone that reads this, because if you aren’t my friend, you may be my customer, or you may have helped me in other ways.
My point is this:
Business online is possible for anyone. With all of the crap I’ve dealt with and succeeded, you can do it for sure. Apply yourself to this and make it your passion. Focus and study. There are many people here that you can learn from.
Also, I can easily dip back to Gang Banger mode and start cracking heads. LOL

Exactly How Not To Build Your Business
Saturday, July 7th, 2007Here is exactly how to NOT build your business:
Keep a window open to forums at all times, so you can not miss a beat and reply to any and all threads that concern you.
Unsubscribe from every list when you get a promo.
NEVER buy a product put out by anyone that makes more money than you do.
Only buy $7 reports because Ebooks, DVDs, MP3s and everything else is too expensive.
Write “How To Make Money Online” products and sell them for $7. Especially since you’ve made no money online.
Don’t ever ask for help from anyone that is obviously successful.
Never attend any live events. They’re all pitchfests.
Avoid joint ventures at all costs. Who cares about their list of 300,000 people that might want your product. What could anyone ever do to help you, anyways.
Don’t ever offer to help anyone. Your time is too valuable.
Unsubscribe from every email list for laughs or because you don’t like that marketer anymore.
Avoid any website that might give you insight to what may be happening in this industry.
Never do any research into what your competition is doing. Especially if they are more successful than you.
Spit in the face of as many of the “Gurus” as possible and often. You have to build a following somehow, right?
Only promote products as an affiliate if you’ve never seen it and have no idea how good it is or if it even works.
Never organize your time. It would be a horrible if you actually planned out your day.
Be sure to quit your job before you know what you’re doing.
Focus on 10 projects at a time with no thought of what you need to focus on right now.
Don’t worry about list building, SEO, traffic, or anything else you know is important.
Every Guru is a snake oil salesman, never buy any product they put out no matter who recommends it.
Don’t ever use the marketing materials you receive in your inbox, see on the web, read on blogs, or watch on TV as research material. It would be foolish to pay attention to the hundreds of marketing materials you see every day and try to apply them.
Talk sh*t about successful people every chance you get. It is actually their fault you can’t succeed.
Be sure to ignore those that are successful and stick together. You definitely don’t want them on your side.
****REALITY CHECK****
You can succeed at making money online. Simply don’t do any of the above!
*Newsletters:
I am personally responsible for blasting too many promos to my list. I am a loyal friend and want to help everyone with their launch. Yes, if I get sales I get paid too, but the loyalty is my main problem.
You should unsubscribe from a newsletter, if and only if:
You get zero content AND You can’t learn from their letter.
I normally buy ZERO promotions. The only time someone gets lucky on me is when I may want to promote the product.
Analyze what the true experts are doing with their marketing. They are already successful and you can always learn from what they’re doing. Quit whining and complaining with every product launch, watch, research, and learn.
Even the craziest marketer that offers his fiance as a bonus is doing something related to marketing and you should always be studying what your competition is doing to improve upon what you already do.
Never Unsubscribe and always study! You can hate them if you want, but the fact remains that they make a lot more money than you. Figure out why and you could find exactly what you’ve been missing.
*Product Creation:
What right do you have to tell someone how to make money online if you aren’t making any money? Are you stupid or do you think everyone else is?
Make money first or learn some killer tactic that works. Then you have something worth teaching to others. If it is a simple tactic, create a $7 report, build your list and begin affiliate marketing. If you are truly making money, develop systems others aren’t teaching. Create an Ebook, Videos, and Audios. You have to satisfy everyone and it will only help bring you in more customers.
Is there something unrelated to internet marketing that you do know about? Create a product based upon your passions and give it 150%. Ensure that there is a market for your product by researching how much key terms are searched in the major search engines. Create a simple sales page and be sure to tell the customer why the MUST have your product.
Document everything you do to create income with your new product. Make that into a product itself once you’ve completed the process and your earning is on autopilot.
Contact others in your niche and cross promote each other’s products. If they don’t have an affiliate program, make a email list trade for no money. Worst case is you earn more cash from sales. Create a product telling how you did it.
Make sure you have an upsell for every product you create. It does not always have to be a typical “one time offer”, but urgency can get you more sales. It’s much easier to sell a paid customer than it is to find a new one. If you don’t have products to upsell to, use someone else’s through an affiliate program.
If you can’t write, then talk. Get Audacity (you’ll need the lame plugin) and a decent microphone. Record your thoughts on a subject and have it transcribed. Use the MP3 as an upsell.
*Forums:
I owe The Warrior Forum for helping me find my way in this niche, but I’ve learned not to sit around all day waiting for someone to post something I’m interested in. I still spend too much time there, but it’s a lot less than it used to be.
YOU WILL NOT MAKE MONEY BY POSTING TO FORUMS
You will make money by learning from others and asking good questions. Pay attention to the answers and who the answers come from. Research that person’s other posts if they’ve helped you.
Get out of forums and research your niche! I’m using sites in my marketing efforts that you haven’t even heard of. I simply searched Google using all kinds of keyword combos and found all kinds of great sites with ease.
*Affiliate Marketing:
Don’t promote a product if you are unsure if it works. I either see or buy every product I promote. That’s right, every one.
Don’t use the cookie cutter emails you get from people. Use them as a basis for your email and change it to something that reflects you and your thoughts on the product.
If you aren’t using video, you are losing sales. Camtasia allows you to put clickable links on top of the videos you make. Bubbleply does it for youtube videos.
Use your personality. Some won’t like you, but others will adore you. Be honest and use your head when promoting stuff. Differentiate yourself from a crowd and you’ll make money.
Be sure to promote like products to people interested in that niche. Stay focused. My list hates Adsense stuff, so I don’t promote it. If I do, I get zero sales and lots of unsubscribes.
Keep an eye on the blogs of other marketers. Many times, the gurus (yes the evil gurus) will give you heads up on a product launch before it happens. This gives you a chance to contact the creator and try to get a feel for the product before others. If you like it, promote it!
Go to as many live events as you can afford. Build real relationships with those you meet. This opens more doors than anything else you could ever do.
**Simple Tips**
Quit your whining and go back to work.
Close browsers and email programs when trying to get stuff done.
Focus on one main project at a time.
Create lists of priorities to ensure you don’t forget something important (Dry Erase White Boards Rock!).
Read business books as often as you can.
Don’t sit at your computer for 18 hours per day, it’s bad for you.
Focus while working and work less hours. Playing around online is NOT working.
Gurus are not against you. Many of them are the most down to earth people you’ll ever meet. I know this from personal experience.
Only buy products that you think will help you. If they don’t get a refund. You won’t gain favors from a marketer by purchasing their products.
Find one specific marketer that you know you can trust and listen to what they say. Take their recommendations to heart and click on the links they send. Analyze their marketing and recreate it using your own personality.
Test your promos and analyze what works best.
Work with the best people you have access to. It can only help.
Be available to customers and fix problems immediately.
Keep your day job until you are consistently making more than you get paid there.
Use your head and innovate. That is the key to gaining access to the best affiliates in the world without knowing them personally.
Outsource what you’re not good at.
Copywriting is the most important part of your sales process. If you stink at it, find someone that doesn’t.
