It’s been 15 months since… Portal Feeder is back!

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Read this now because it might be another
15 months before you see it again.

Yes, it’s THAT time sensitive.

15 months ago (on December 6th 2005, to be exact)
something major happened online.

Maybe you missed it. It passed by so fast that many
people *blinked* and it was gone within 24 hours.

I am talking about PortalFeeder.

Chances are, you’ve heard about PortalFeeder. Or,
at least you’ve heard *crazy* rumors about it.

There are so many half-truths flying around out
there, you don’t know what to believe anymore.

Let me quickly explain and set things straight…

Back in December 2005, every IM forum was
plastered with chatter and buzz about this new
“product”.

In fact, since PortalFeeder was such a new and
unconventional type of program back then, most of
the talk was made up of wild assumptions and
short-sighted predictions.

“Dead in 6 months” was one person’s exact words.

Others claimed that PortalFeeder was nothing more
than a bunch of $67 scripts and tools dressed up
into a big fancy monthly membership site.

Was this the truth?

But, the big question on everyone’s mind is… what
REALLY happened to PortalFeeder?

As you can tell, nobody has been saying a peep
about PortalFeeder since the doors closed back on
December 7th 2005.

Where do things stand today? Is anybody making
money?

I have some contacts on the inside and am pleased
to report that YES, PortalFeeder is bigger and
stronger than ever.

One PortalFeeder member went from $0 to $10K per
month in just 30 days.

Another member is making $3000 per month in pure
PROFIT after a mere 4 months.

Want to see some more real results and proof like
this?

You’ll see what has been happening behind closed
doors once you visit this site:

http://www.ross-goldberg.com/recommends/portalfeeder.html

Hint: A LOT has been going on that you don’t know
about.

The good news is, for the first time in over 15
months, PortalFeeder will be accepting new
members starting at 12 noon today (Thursday, April
26th).

But, just like in the past… there are only a limited
number of seats available.

This is NOT an ambush-style, full-out, 200 marketers
hammering their lists, type of product launch.

I am only among a handful of people that even know
about this.

And there is a good reason for it. You see,
PortalFeeder can’t handle 1000 new members all at
once.

Once you realize how robust this software is, the
nature of their new “Mentors” program and their
high level of customer service, you’ll understand
why.

They simply cannot support a flood of 1000 new
members. That’s why only a limited quantity of
members will be accepted.

If things are as crazy as they were back in December
‘05, PortalFeeder will quietly close their doors again
real soon, then step away back into the shadows…
and create another few dozen amazing success
stories just like the ones you will see on this page:

http://www.ross-goldberg.com/recommends/portalfeeder.html

Go ahead. While there is still time (and seats
available), do yourself a favor and check out what
PortalFeeder has become today.

After 15 months of construction… version 2.0 was
just launched and this thing is bigger and *beefier*
than ever before!

If you are tired of quilting together piece-by-piece,
the information you need to succeed online, or have
a hard drive full of tools and scripts that you never
use… PortalFeeder could be exactly what you’ve
been searching for.

There is a reason why current members have been
referring to PortalFeeder as “The Total Solution”.

You’ll see why once you take a peek at what version
2.0 has to offer you. All the training, software, tools,
services and personal mentoring is yours for the
asking, at a price way less than you’d expect.

Visit this page after 12 noon Eastern today for
complete details:

A Single Income Stream or Many?

Tuesday, April 24th, 2007

You’ll hear different ideas depending on who
you talk to, but what is truly better?  Should
you focus on one specific method or create
different types of systems to best serve your
business?  I’ve heard many different perspectives,
from many different people and here is my take on
it all:

I feel that you should always be coming up with
new ideas to create the type of business that
creates the freedom you are personally looking
to achieve for yourself.  The big dream of
working for yourself online is to have the
freedom to do what you want, when you want to
do it.  There are so many different things to
do, that it can be hard to work on different
projects at the same time and create the results
you’re looking for.

I personally believe that focusing on one main
idea can hurt you.  I did just that and, as most
of you know, that business failed and left us
with nothing but debt.  I’ve since decided to
focus on one main thing and spend a small amount
of time on other ideas.  This ensures that if a
project fails, I have other options I can move
to right away to provide the stability my
family needs.

What do I use?

I, of course, am always making
my own products.  I’m currently working on 5.
That includes a one day seminar in Madison, WI
on 5/26.  I’ll send more on that soon.

I use affiliate marketing, but only promote the
best products.  I’m sure you’ve noticed that I
don’t promote the same garbage you get from every
marketer online.

I also use adsense sites.  If done right this
can be very powerful.  I use a combination of
blogs and content sites.  I also have a very
specific method of avoiding common pitfalls
with adsense.

My good friend Liz Tomey (she really is a good
friend of mine) recently created some amazing
videos that will teach you exactly how she
earns a TON from Google every month.  The videos
are great and extremely well done, but are
missing something.  For any one that picks up
these videos through the link below, I’m
including a short report that will tell you
specifically “what not to do” with your adsense
sites and blogs.  It’s short, but very valuable.

www.ross-goldberg.com/recommends/adsensevideos.html

Simply forward your receipt on to me and I’ll
send your report right away.

Knowledge Can Never Die!

Ross

P.S.  Liz provides some of the best made products
I’ve ever seen.  I also know that she is one of
the few others that works as hard as I do.  Pick
up her videos now and get the special report from
me as a bonus!

How To Make $1000 Per Day - True Internet Marketing Secrets

Tuesday, April 24th, 2007

How do you make $1000 in a day?

TAKE ACTION

If you take a look at the forum threads from successful people, you’ll see the same thing repeated every time a question like this arrives.

How do I do it?

I fail.

What do I mean?

I take massive action and sometimes I fail. I then analyze why I failed and ensure it never happens again. This leads to more knowledge than any Ebook or info product could ever give me. Take what you’ve done wrong and figure out how you could have made it succeed. Apply what you’ve learned to your next project.

What else?

I always have more than one thing in planning and production. Ben Mack says to think 2 products ahead. Right now I have 5. I focus on one main project at a time and spend a small amount of time on the others throughout my day. I personally spend at least 10 hours a day in front of my computer. The only limitation you have with this, is yourself and your mind. Multi-tasking is one of the most important things you can learn for your business.

Are you a shovel seller?

You can be out mining gold, or you can sell the shovels. With thousands of new internet marketers per day, are you selling internet marketing products? How to Ebooks? Instructional Videos? If you aren’t having any $1000 days, why would you? The proof is in your actions and your products. If you are in here asking how to make $1000 in a day, you aren’t ready to sell internet marketing products to internet marketers. Prove yourself in this field and you will make money. Make a fool out of yourself by selling unproven information and you can kiss your reputation goodbye before you even start…

What methods really work when attempting to make money online?

They all do!!!!!! It depends on you, your staff, your systems, and your capabilities. Try them all and see what fits. Adsense, Affiliate sales, Product Sales, Membership Sites, Coaching, Seminars, and whatever else you can think of. I know what works for me and don’t bother with what doesn’t. If you throw a bunch of crap at the wall, something is bound to stick. Throw your crap and watch to see what sticks. Then, run with it and put 200% into making it work. Next, go back to whatever else stuck and work on that.

The money is in the list!?!

It is if you do it right. I posted awhile back that I was ruining my list. Guess what, I truly did. Then I launched a product and had 4 figures in sales on the first day. Why? How? I began writing to my list members and not to myself. I became much more personal and gave a ton of good information. In a period of a week, I saw huge changes in my conversion rate with my list.

How do I create a product that will sell?

I saw a need for something and provided the answer to that specific need. All I had was a simple idea, I didn’t even produce the final software. I found someone that could and went back to what I do best, WORK. There are tons of answers to that question in this any forum. Find something someone is griping about and provide a solution. If one person is having that problem, how many others do you think are having the same one?

How do I get affiliates to promote my product.

You have two options. Create something so amazing that everyone simply has to have it or make friends with the right affiliates. Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not telling you to invite yourself over to Willie Crawford’s house and bang on his door. What I am telling you is to go where your potential super affiliate will be. If you are a marketer selling to marketers, go to IM seminars. My business literally exploded after my first seminar, now I go to one every 1 or 2 months. Talk to people, introduce yourself and truly try to be their friend. If you are in a niche market, find a trade show you can attend and network with the attendees. All I have to do now is pick up the phone and my friends will be happy to help me, promote for me, and do anything they can to make sure I succeed. I’m not going to name drop here, but most of you have some ideas of the “friends” I’m referring to.

Create a sales funnel, or borrow products from others to make it happen.

Do you think it is easier to find a brand new customer and sell them, or to sell to someone that has already paid you for something? That’s right! The correct answer is number 2! If you have a $27 product, your next step should be a $97 product, then a $297 course, next a $1000 coaching program, and a $5000 workshop. If you don’t have that capability, become an affiliate for someone with a related product. It shouldn’t be hard to find in literally any industry.

Work with your customers, including the new ones, the old ones and the potential ones.

My skype is going off all day long. I’m always being asked questions by people that have bought from me and need a little help. What does this do? It builds trust. I’m an expert in my field and my customers know it. They ask me questions because they respect me and trust that the answers will solve their latest issue. I answer their questions and they buy my products, knowing that they will answer questions that the customer didn’t even know they had.

I respond to emails almost immediately.

I normally respond within 5 minutes of getting an email and even my close friends are amazed with the speed of my responses. I even tackle tough customer service issues immediately. Why? People want answers. Outside of posting my office phone number all over the internet, the only way people have to contact me is through Email. They would like instant answers and I do my best to provide it. Again, it builds trust and respect in a customer/seller relationship.

In closing,

I could have easily sold this information, but it’s important that you understand one simple fact: You already have what it takes to have $1000 days. Look through your hard drive at the information you already have. Watch the threads in marketing forums from the true money makers. Build relationships with successful people, what’s the worst thing that can happen? They might just rub off on you…

Easy Methods to Promote Products (Yours and Affiliate)

Sunday, April 15th, 2007

Earning money online can be easy if you know what
you’re doing, it can also be the most frustrating
thing you’ve ever dealt with if you don’t.  There
are tons of tactics that work, but here are some
that I’ve found to be easiest.

PPC - Pay per click is the fastest method of
generating traffic to an offer.  Focus on longer
keywords with at least 2 phrases.  It’s been
proven that people use more words when truly
looking to buy something.  The cost per click
will be less, as well.  You should always try to
use a squeeze page to collect email addresses
before sending someone onto an affiliate program
you’re promoting.  If you get their email, you
can promote products to them over and over again.

Articles - Writing articles can be easy if you
know what you’re talking about.  Keep articles
short and focused on a specific topic.  This will
create a curiosity that will get people to click
on the link in your resource box.  If you are
having trouble finding a topic, search
Ezinearticles.com to see what others are writing
about.

Myspace - Your Myspace profile is a great place
to promote products.  It’s shown in studies that
people will click on an image more than a link
on Myspace, so either have one created or use the
images on the sales page of what you’re promoting.
Don’t spam people, but bring them in by blogging
and talking about what you’re promoting.  Search
groups for people that need what you’re selling
and tell them about the product.  Then direct them
to your blog for info on it and the affiliate or
product link.

Blogs - Blogging is an extremely easy way to put
information out with no cost.  First, you create
your blog post.  Then, you ping directories using
pingoat, feedshark.brainbliss.com, and pingomatic.
Then you submit your RSS feed to directories and
social bookmark your posts using onlywire.  Nice
and Easy!

The methods above work well, but the key to
promoting anything online is to find your
potential customer.  Type in very vague keywords
on Google and find interactive websites in your
niche.  You can find hidden gems that many don’t
even realize are there by doing this and building
a presence on these sites.

Only Submitter is a clickbank product offering 50%
commission and you can promote it pretty easily
with the tools I’ve provided at:
http://www.onlysubmitter.com/jv.html

Conversion is hovering around 10% right now, so
check out the info there and feel free to respond
if you have any questions on how to promote it!

Knowledge Never Dies!

Ross Goldberg

P.S.  With a conversion like 10%, you’re losing
out by not promoting Only Submitter…

What do you do when a friend turns out to be a thief?

Friday, April 13th, 2007

Many of you are familiar with the infamous Warrior Forum.  I have an issue with a member of that forum that I’d like to share with you to make sure you don’t make the same mistakes that I made.  The bottom line:  Don’t ever trust someone you don’t know well.

I was contacted by a member of the Warrior Forum and asked to do link building for their sites.  The sites are subdomains, which anyone familiar with SEO can tell you is extremely difficult to do link building for.  I let him know that I would be expensive for this, as I do not offer SEO as a service any more.  I quoted him a price of $500 for each of 3 sites.  50% was to be paid up front and the remainder would be paid after the work was completed.  I told him that it would be OK to wait a few DAYS to see some results before I expected payment.  I felt no need to have contracts signed, as this was a simple job between friends (huge mistake!).

He paid me $700 (not quite the 50% agreed upon) and I started work.  This job was completed in a few days.  I submitted his RSS feed to directories and social bookmarked his sites.  Subdomains cannot be submitted to web directories, so this made things quite difficult.  I did, however submit his main domain to 500 directories to add value to my service with him (at no additional cost).

Upon completion of the work, I contacted him to let him know it had been completed.  I reiterated that it would be OK for him to wait a few days to see some results before I expected payment.  He literally flipped out.  He claimed he wanted to see all of the results before payment.  Our entire agreement went out the window.

He just contacted me today demanding a refund for the $750 he paid me (it was only $700 in truth).  I’ve made a page showing the (crappy) results that he got from my efforts.  You’ll see the links I created pointing to his sites and ranking improvements for the subdomain that performed best.

The problem here is that his sites were very spammy.  They are sites that others have and are simply duplicate content.  His index of each subdomain rotates crappy articles he has had written and the sites simply look like total spam.  They were not accepted into the majority of RSS and Web directories due to the quality of the sites.  Out of submission to 500 web directories, there were only 16 approved.  Out of over 100 RSS submissions, only 10 were approved.  That isn’t my fault.  The cost for the service was for work and results.  The results are not only based on the work, but the quality of the sites.

I acknowledge that the results are somewhat lackluster, but again, it isn’t my fault that his sites are crappy.

You can see his sites at http://www.wares-are.us

You can see proof of my work at http://www.ross-goldberg.com/thief.html

Here is a link to the Whois data for his site:  http://www.whois.org/whois_new.cgi?d=wares-are&tld=us

I provided a service and expected to be paid for it, as was agreed upon by both of us.  He decided to change the arrangements to suit him without any thought or concern about paying me for my work.  I trusted this man based on his “I want a Warrior to do this for me” story he gave me.  That was really stupid.

The moral of the story here is not to trust anyone based upon conversations you may have with them.  Always get something signed by your client to cover your behind.

Are You A Copy Writer? I Found Out I’m Not!

Thursday, April 12th, 2007

As most of you know, I just launched Only Submitter.
This is truly my most important project.  It is not only
my first software product, but my most important product
to date.  Why?

This product has been in the back of my mind for over
a year.  When I opened my SEO company, I was frustrated
with the amount of software I needed to use to make
different link building tactics easier.  I spent over
a thousand dollars on the software I used.  I then had
to learn how to use all of the different types of
software to make the most of my efforts.

I came up with this idea and searched for a way to get
it made.  In my searching, I got quotes of everywhere
from $500 to $5000.  I decided that the time was wrong
to create this software and moved on for a bit.

I ended up finding a software that could be made into
my dream of the ultimate software for SEO and traffic
generation.  I contacted the owner and talked to him
about my ideas and the rest is history…

Only Submitter has become my greatest selling product
because it is innovative and well made.  It doesn’t
hurt that I have been responding to most inquiries
and issues within an hour or less.  That kind of
thing builds your reputation faster than you can
imagine.

If you want to take a look at the video I made for
Only Submitter, click here:

http://www.onlysubmitter.com

So, how did I find out that I’m not a copywriter?

My sales page sucked!

I couldn’t figure out why hundreds of people were
coming to the sales page and not buying at all.  I
contacted my good friend, John Hostler and asked him
to take a look for me and let me know why nobody
was seeing the value in this product.  He pointed out
some very simple issues and had me fix them.

In fixing them, the conversion rate went up 400% to
9%.  What that means is that basically, 1 out of 10
people are buying Only Submitter that visit the page.

Initially, the conversion was at 1.5%.

I had some major internet marketers that believed in
me and this product and mailed out to their humongous
lists to promote this.  I was mortified when some of
them got no sales.  I was worried that none of them
would ever want to promote any of my products again.

John is the best copy writer I know.  His simple
suggestions and updates to this sales letter made an
amazing impact.  People are finally seeing the value
in my product.

What is the lesson here?  Don’t try to write your
own sales copy!!!!

You are simply too close to your product and can’t
convey the value in it as well as a trained sales
copy writer.

So, head over to Only Submitter to see the improvements
at:  http://www.onlysubmitter.com

I’d love to hear what you like about the product,
what you don’t like, and what improvements you would
like to see in it.  Simply post a comment!
